Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute President Shirley Ann Jackson Names New Vice President for Enrollment Management
Troy, NY – Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute President Shirley Ann Jackson, Ph.D. today named Vice President for Enrollment Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Jonathan D. Wexler, Vice President for Enrollment Management, effective July 15, 2015.
“Mr. Wexler brings a great deal of expertise in enrollment management to our leadership team,” said President Jackson. “His experience at a variety of higher education institutions will benefit our current as well as prospective Rensselaer students through innovative enrollment strategies that continue to build upon the positive trajectory of inquiries, applications, selectivity, yield, academic quality, and diversity of our incoming students and overall student population.”
In his role at Rensselaer, Wexler will report to the President and assume responsibility for setting long- and short- range strategies for the Office of Enrollment Management in the recruitment of undergraduate, full and part-time graduate, and international students for both the Troy and Hartford campuses. In addition, Wexler will oversee the Office of Financial Aid.

As Vice President for Enrollment Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Wexler provided leadership for the offices of Undergraduate, Graduate, International, and Adult Part-Time Undergraduate Admissions, as well as Financial Aid on the two primary campuses of the university.
Prior to his role at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Wexler served as Associate Vice President for Enrollment at the University of Puget Sound, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions at Polytechnic University, and Director of Graduate Recruitment at Drexel University.
Wexler received a master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of South Carolina, and a dual bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from Goucher College.
