Yuvraj Chopra, a student in the Lally School of Management and the School of Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, recently received a citation from Nassau County in recognition of the contributions he has made to the region and community. During the award ceremony, he was also honored for being the youngest entrepreneur on stage and one of the youngest individuals ever to receive the citation.

“I’m extremely passionate about helping underprivileged people and paying it forward in communities in need,” said Chopra, who is also part of the Rensselaer chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, and was selected to attend this year’s Forbes Under 30 Summit.
