Hao Zhao, an associate professor in the Lally School of Management, has been appointed as an associate editor of Human Relations, a prestigious academic journal.

Human Relations is among the journals used by the Financial Times to rank the research productivity of business schools. As an associate editor, Zhao will manage and select papers for publication in the journal. His initial appointment is from 2020 to 2023. 

“I am proud to serve one of the best journals in the business management field and to make Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute more visible worldwide,” Zhao said.

Zhao served on the editorial board of Human Relations for nine years prior to this appointment. He currently serves on the editorial boards of three other academic journals: Journal of Business Venturing, Personnel Psychology, and Human Resource Management Review.
