Angela Fu, a third-year, dual degree student in the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute studying Design, Innovation, and Society with Business Management, has been awarded the Zonta International Foundation Jane M. Klausman Women In Business Scholarship.
The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are awarded nationally each year to a maximum of 32 women undertaking business studies.
Fu is a founding member of the newly established Women In Business Club at Rensselaer and has served as its president. She is a student ambassador to the Red & White Student Organization. Fu is the recipient of the Rensselaer Leadership Award and is a member of the Epsilon Delta Sigma Management Honor Society.
The Zonta International Foundation awarded the first Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships in 1998 to women pursuing degrees in business leading to a business management career. This program was established from a bequest by Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, N.Y., and the Zonta International Parliamentarian from 1990 to 1995. During her career, Klausman was a professional secretary, parliamentarian, and entrepreneur.
