Xavier Intes, a professor of biomedical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has edited the book Imaging from Cells to Animals in Vivo.

Intes edited this book with his long-time research collaborator Margarida Barroso, from Albany Medical College.

The book, which is being published by Taylor Francis books, brings together biology and advanced optical imaging techniques to provide an overview of progress and modern methods in this field. The book addresses the impact these advances have had on discovery, such as cellular functions that are involved in human diseases and translational medicine, like cancer diagnosis.
