Nishtha Langer Named Associate Editor of Top Academic Journal

Nishtha Langer, an associate professor of business analytics in the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has been named an associate editor for the peer-reviewed, academic journal, Management Information Systems Quarterly (MIS Quarterly).

Langer was chosen for her expertise and experience in the economics of information systems, human capital, and women in technology.

MIS Quarterly is a top-tier peer-reviewed journal that focuses on research in the “development of IT-based services, the management of IT resources, and the use, impact, and economics of IT with managerial, organizational, and societal implications.”

Langer will begin this position in January 2022. She was also named as an associate editor for an upcoming special issue of MIS Quarterly on the topic of “Digital Technologies and Social Justice.”
