Rensselaer Game Design Programs Receive National Rankings

The Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences (GSAS) graduate degree program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is among the top in the country, according to the Princeton Review.

The publication’s latest national ranking recognizes Rensselaer as No. 18 in the United States on its list of top Graduate Schools for Game Design.

According to the Princeton Review, the graduate programs were selected based on institutional survey data, quality of lab facilities, faculty credentials, and graduates’ career outcomes.

The undergraduate GSAS program was ranked in the Top 25 undergraduate programs for Game Design schools nationwide.

Animation Career Review ranked the undergraduate Game Design program at Rensselaer in the top 20 nationwide and number 3 in New York state. The criteria for ranking included academic reputation, admission selectivity, employment data, graduation rate, faculty experience, and value as it relates to tuition and indebtedness.
