Dr. Vivek Ghosal, Head of the Department of Economics and the Virginia and Lloyd W. Rittenhouse Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Industry, Competition, and Trade (JITC).

JITC aims to be a general interest journal publishing applied theoretical papers and empirical research on the microeconomic foundations of the functioning of markets for goods and services, firm strategy, competition, innovation and new technologies, international trade, environmental and energy economics, and economic policy and outcomes.

In addition to JITC, Dr. Ghosal is a member of the editorial boards of the journals Business Strategy and the Environment (Wiley); Review of Industrial Organization (Springer); Southern Economic Journal (Wiley); and Business Strategy and Development (Wiley).
