Juergen Hahn Elected Leader of the Biomedical Engineering Society’s Council of Chairs for 2023

Dr. Juergen Hahn, Professor and Department Head for Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has been elected leader of the Biomedical Engineering Society’s (BMES) Council of Chairs for 2023. BMES consists of the department heads/department chairs of all BME departments across the nation. This appointment follows Dr. Hahn being named a BMES Fellow in early September. The Biomedical Engineering Society is the professional society for biomedical engineering and bioengineering. Founded in 1968, the Society now includes over 5,000 members. The organization promotes and enhances knowledge and education in biomedical engineering and bioengineering worldwide and its utilization for human health and well-being.
