Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute students will have the opportunity to meet with and learn from forensic scientists and other professionals from the New York State Police (NYSP) Crime Laboratory System at 2 p.m. on March 26 at the Shirley Ann Jackson, Ph.D. Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies. Forensic Investigative Curriculum School meets several times per semester at different universities to explore different disciplines of forensic science. 

After each lecture session, students will have the opportunity to meet with forensic scientist mentors to answer questions and for a more personal and in-depth look into the mentors’ own experiences. Students can apply this knowledge to their own academic and professional paths while also networking with students and faculty from other institutions.
