Rensselaer Piano Showcase To Take Place April 17

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute will present a piano showcase on Wednesday, April 17, at 4 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) on campus. The event, free and open to the public, will feature compositions for up to four pianos in addition to original student work.

Winners of Spring 2019 Change the World Challenge Announced By Rensselaer

The Paul J. ’69 and Kathleen M. Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute recently held its biannual Change the World Challenge, where six student teams were each awarded a prize of $1,000 for the business concepts they pitched to solve complex global challenges. Two teams received honorary mentions and were awarded $500 each.

Enhanced Robot “Vision” Enables More Natural Interaction With Humans

TROY, N.Y. — A wide-eyed, soft-spoken robot named Pepper motors around the Intelligent Systems Lab at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
