Systems engineers and social scientists at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) have been awarded $1.85 million by the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the Future of Work program.
Recently, Rensselaer’s Talk Without Borders student group visited the Brighter Choice Charter School for Girls. Talk Without Borders is an enrichment program, sponsored by the Mueller Center at Rensselaer, that brings together students of all nationalities for volunteer projects that celebrate diversity.
Dr. Juergen Hahn, Professor and Department Head for Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has been elected leader of the Biomedical Engineering Society’s (BMES) Council of Chairs for 2023. BMES consists of the department heads/department chairs of all BME departments across the nation. This appointment follows Dr. Hahn being named a BMES Fellow in early September.
